Backstage at Vivienne Westwood

Whilst I was frantically downloading catwalk images yesterday for a London Fashion Week round up I came across these gorgeous shots from backstage at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label show.

It's not often that brands will share so many backstage show pictures with the public, and when they do these are often beauty shots - showing the hair and make-up preparation or finished article and not much else.

Instead these candid shots show everything from Westwood  herself sitting in on the run-through, to models hanging out backstage before they even get dressed in the collection, right through to those all important beauty close-ups so we all know what eye shadow colour to invest in for next season..it's a vivid turquoise blue by the way.

The collection for the Red Label S/S 13 took inspiration from British royal gardens throughout history. The colour palette references Tudor knot gardens with rich dusty reds, grey, green and blues in micro checks, fine wools and gingham knits.

Keep checking back for more backstage shots and micro trends from New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks over the next few days on This Little Girl Is Lost.
